If you’re possessed of a deft hand and a keen eye, I invite you to stake your claim as a Recreation of the Gods artist and begin putting a fairer face on the world of Alvidan. As to what I can offer in return, at the least, I’ll provide you with a forum where your work can be seen by the fantasy readers, writers, and artists who congregate here (if your submissions are used, your name will be presented along with the piece). And for those who are with me from the beginning and submit high quality work, I may be in a position to offer something more substantive if and when my series is published (such as presenting your work to my publisher for use as a cover or for inclusion in a book of illustrations to be released as a companion to the series).
If you’d like to see what I’ve written before going any further, click on this link: Novels
If you’re looking for commissioned work, I’ll thank you for your time and not waste any more of it. Click the back arrow in your browser to return to the page you came from or use one of the following links: Novels, The Author’s Corner, Exploring Alvidan
Finally, a note about the images you’ll find on this site: I’ve used graphics from free clip art areas and websites that didn’t limit the use of the images. If you have concerns about a specific picture (eg - if it belongs to you and someone posted it as freely available when they hadn’t the right) please send me an email via the form below so I can rectify the problem.
All right, for those of you who are still here, my goal is to populate this entire site with images created expressly for Recreation of the Gods. Specifically . . .
I want pictures for each character, figures like Greyl the Gray, the one-eyed Queen of the Witches’ Coven; and Pevoraille the Wise, the silver-skinned faerie who stands as the Second Pillar of Light; and Cytouhl the Lich, the fleshless King of Bones . . .
If your talent lies in creating rich scenery, I’d invite you to take on one of the settings in which most of the action takes place - the elven Forest of Draema; the icy slopes of Sparkfire Peak where the dwarven capital rests; the pristine Sacred Grove; the Sullandrian Tropics; the embattled city of Thalex . . .
Or, if objects are your forte, perhaps you’d put your name to the skeletal Throne of Perdition; or the flaming Tongue of Darkfire; or the desolate Pool of Broken Dreams . . .
Whatever your skills, there are over two hundred characters / places / and objects that I’d like to have illustrated. If you’re interested, please email me at: penczak@RecreationOfTheGods.com and let me know what you’d like to draw.
Thanks for your interest,
Rob Penczak
